Upload the handbook, the policies, the contracts. Your team asks a question the way they would ask a colleague, and gets an answer drawn only from those documents — with the file it came from named underneath.
Every company writes things down and then spends years answering the same questions out loud anyway. The document is in a shared drive somewhere, on page 34, under a heading nobody would think to search for.
How many leave days do I get. Who signs off on this. What is the expense limit. The policy answers all of it, and someone answers it again by hand every week.
File search matches the words you typed. It does not know that "time off" and "annual leave" are the same thing, and it cannot read a scanned contract at all.
Salary bands and signed contracts cannot sit in the same open pile as the office wifi password — but locking them away means nobody can ask about them either.
Not a general-purpose chatbot with your files bolted on. Every part of it assumes the answer has to be traceable and the wrong person must not see it.
Each reply says which document it came from. If the documents do not cover the question, it says so plainly instead of inventing something that sounds right.
A contract someone photographed and saved as a PDF is just pixels to normal search. Optical character recognition turns it back into text so it can be asked about like anything else.
Mark a folder private and name the people who may read it. For everyone else the chatbot does not merely decline to answer — it never retrieves that content in the first place.
Administrators upload, organise and delete. Everyone else can only ask questions. Members never see the document list, and cannot upload or remove anything.
Ask in English, Vietnamese, Japanese or Spanish and the reply comes back in the language you asked — even when the document you are asking about is written in another one.
Administrators can read the full question history. It is the fastest way to find out which policy is confusing everyone, and which one needs rewriting.
No integration project, no data migration, nothing to install on anyone's computer.
Drag in PDFs, Word files and plain text, up to 25 MB each. Sort them into folders the way you already think about them — HR, Finance, Contracts.
Folders are open to your whole company by default. Mark one private and list the addresses allowed in. Nested folders inherit that restriction, so a subfolder cannot quietly leak its parent.
Send an invitation by email address. They sign up, open the chat, and start asking. There is nothing to learn — it is a message box.
Every plan runs the same system. They differ only in how much you can put into it. Change plan whenever you like.
Everything except scanned-PDF reading, so you can judge it on your own documents.
For a team that has outgrown asking each other where the policy is kept.
For a whole company, with room for scanned archives and long histories.
All prices in USD, billed monthly by card or PayPal. Talk to us about annual billing or limits beyond these.
The most common question we get is what happens to the files. The short version is below; the full explanation spells out where everything is stored and who can reach it.
Every search is filtered by organisation before it runs, not after. There is no query path that can return another customer's content.
Documents are stored to answer your team's questions and nothing else. They are never used to train a model, and never shared with other customers.
The list of folders a person may read is worked out first, and only that list is searched. A private folder is invisible to the search, not filtered out of the answer afterwards.
Remove a document and the stored file, the extracted text and the search index entries all go with it. Close your account and the same applies to everything in it.
PDF, Word (.docx) and plain text, up to 25 MB per file. Scanned PDFs work on the paid plans: the text is recognised automatically, which takes a little longer than a normal upload and counts towards your monthly page allowance.
The trial runs for three days. If you have not upgraded by then, the documents you uploaded are deleted along with their search index and chat history. Your account, your organisation and your members stay — upgrade later and you simply upload again.
It is instructed to answer only from your documents and to say so when they do not contain the answer. Because every reply names the document it drew on, you can check it. No system of this kind is infallible, which is exactly why the source is always shown.
Administrators in your organisation see everything. Members see only what a folder's permissions allow, and never the document list itself. Our own system administrators can technically read stored content in order to operate and support the service; that access is limited to the people who need it.
Each gets an answer built from the documents they personally have access to. If one of them may read the private contracts folder and the other may not, their answers will legitimately differ.
No. Your files are stored so your team can ask questions about them. They are not used for training and are not shared with anyone else.
Billing is monthly and stops when you stop paying — there is no contract term and no cancellation fee. Your plan stays active until the period you have already paid for runs out.
Three days, every feature except scanned-PDF reading, no card. The honest test is whether it answers a question you actually get asked.
